Senior Bid Manager
GlobalConnectAbout the role
Take the lead in public bids that shape Sweden’s digital infrastructure
At GlobalConnect, we build and operate digital infrastructure that keeps society connected — from national agencies to regional municipalities. Now, we’re looking for a new colleague in Stockholm to take the lead on public tenders in Sweden. You’ll be part of a focused bid team that works closely with sales, legal and solution experts to decide which tenders to pursue — and how to win them.
In this role, your ability to coordinate and assess will make a real difference. You’ll work across departments to gather the right input, ensure requirements are met, and manage bids as clear and well-run internal project. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we approach public procurement — not just by answering tenders but by helping the organization make smart choices about which ones to answer.
The Bid Management team consists of four people across the Nordics. Although you’ll be working primarily with Swedish tenders, you’ll have regular cross-border exchanges to share best practices. The team works hybrid, and for this role, we expect you to be based in Stockholm.
Some things you’ll be doing:
- Review and qualify new public tenders in Sweden
- Lead the full bid process - from kick-off to delivery - for selected tenders
- Collaborate with sales, legal, and product teams to gather input and content
- Coordinate and structure the content so that it meets both formal and qualitative requirements
- Work closely with our internal bid community to share learnings and insights
To be the right fit, we think you have:
- Experience working with public tenders in Sweden and a solid understanding of relevant procurement regulations
- At least 5 years of experience from bid management or similar roles
- Confidence in managing internal coordination and timelines — you’ll keep things on track
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Why choose GlobalConnect?
If you like having real ownership and the freedom to improve how things are done, this is a great place for you. You’ll get the perks of working in a modern, pan-Nordic company, but with the closeness of a team that genuinely works together. You’ll build strong internal relationships, contribute to smarter qualification of tenders, and grow into being the go-to person for Swedish public bids.
