Position Summary
Insulet is seeking a visionary and execution-oriented leader to spearhead the global expansion of its technology footprint. This role will drive the launch and optimization of new international locations through a structured, cross-functional program management approach. This high-impact, high-visibility role will oversee all phases of the programs—from initial scoping and planning through execution, stabilization, and value realization. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in global program leadership, cross-functional execution, and cultural fluency, with a proven track record of delivering complex international site launches.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Leadership
Lead the full lifecycle of global hub launches—from business case development and site selection to operational go-live and post-launch optimization.
Establish scalable, repeatable frameworks for international expansion aligned with enterprise growth objectives.
Cross-Functional Execution
Partner with HR, IT, Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless execution across workstreams.
Drive structured decision-making processes to align stakeholders and resolve cross-border complexities.
Governance & Risk Management
Develop and enforce program governance standards, ensuring compliance with local regulations and global policies.
Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and change impacts across geographies.
Executive Engagement
Deliver executive-ready updates, dashboards, and strategic insights to senior leadership.
Translate complex program data into actionable recommendations.
Cultural & Regional Intelligence
Navigate regulatory, labor, and cultural nuances with sensitivity and precision.
Champion Insulet’s values while adapting to local market dynamics.
Significant International and Domestic travel required
Qualifications
Proven track record of launching and scaling international operations or technology hubs.
Experience building governance frameworks and leading cross-functional expansion teams.
Familiarity with structured decision-making models (e.g., RAPID) is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS) or certifications (PMP, PgMP) strongly preferred
10+ years of experience leading large-scale, global transformation programs, including international site launches or technology center builds
Prior experience setting up operations or delivery locations in multiple countries
Demonstrated success managing cross-border teams and navigating regional complexities (e.g., compliance, labor laws, infrastructure)
Strong business acumen with experience in budget ownership, vendor management, and value tracking
Expertise in stakeholder engagement, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership
