This position is located at the Department of Energy's (DOE) Remote Sensing Laboratory (RSL) affiliate- the Field Element Mobility Human Performance Center (FEM-HPC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The qualified candidate will participate in planning, coordinating and executing training activities and other activities as required for national emergency response assets that participate in training evolutions, exercises, and real-world events. Develop and maintain procedures, documents, and reports for internal and external dissemination that are in compliance with DOE orders, as well as company procedures.  Serve as an ambassador for the RSL-Human Performance Analytics’ (HPA) Regimen program in everyday life and professional life by maintaining adherence to Regimen principles and demonstrating mastery of course material. 

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the HPA lead instructor at the FEM-HPC in Albuquerque NM and primary liaison to all DOE Nuclear Response efforts at that location.
• Manage multiple training periods of instruction (PsOI) to include but not limited to: the HPA Regimen program, personalized strength and conditioning, and response personnel defensive safety.
• Serve as an instructor during delivery of training courses and immediately demonstrate mastery of all Regimen course material. 
• Integrate HPA team diverse expertise into actionable training protocols for all field element skill families.
• Professionally interface and coordinate with program managers and other personnel at all levels from NNSA and the Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratories and their strategic partners. 
• Develop and maintain relationships with other government agencies and external parties to facilitate course delivery.
• Integrate and participate in emergency response activities as required by FEM federal managers.
• Populate and update frequently DOE time sensitive databases with relevant asset information to include training requirements, asset event status, and budgetary updates. 
• Develop and maintain with version controls procedures, documents, reports, and track requests for information for all matters relating to emergency response teams.  
• Professionally interface with various personnel within and outside DOE, to include federal management and interagency entities.  
• Become qualified and complete necessary training requirements for deployable and home team operations support. 
• Develop and maintain relationships with other government agencies and external parties to facilitate exercise/drill requirements. 
• Perform related work as assigned by Management.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least 5 years of professional level experience.
• No less than 4 years’ experience utilizing, analyzing, and coaching clients in remote sensing technology for optimization of human performance.
• Ability to review, interpret, and provide the practical significance of the latest human factors research for operational readiness.
• Immediately demonstrate mastery of Nuclear Emergency Response mission specific operational readiness human performance training.
• Experience with training in the human factors for firearms, hand-to-hand close combat, and self-defense techniques highly desired.
