What is this role? 

As our Senior Social Media Specialist, you’ll work hand in hand with our Social Media Manager and Social Media Specialists to create fresh, fun, and creative content that continues to grow our brand awareness, spark engagement and drive sales across three major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok). You'll be excellent at multitasking, have a creative way of thinking, have a good understanding of brand marketing, and be comfortable presenting ideas and results to leadership. You’ll have previous experience in social media marketing and strategizing while being comfortable leading your projects from start to finish.

What does an average day look like? 

• Driving Results:
  • Work closely with the Social Media Manager to manage channel strategies to meet monthly performance goals. 
  • Curate, write, and schedule organic content using approval workflows. 
  • Maintain the Content Calendar across 2 accounts (drinkCirkul and byCirkul). 
• Taking Ownership: 
  • Support quarterly activations across all channels and represent the Organic Social Media team and participation. 
  • Support monthly KPI updates and understand Social Media analytics and reporting. 
  • Actively look at content, share findings with team members, and work closely to strategically adjust content to drive results.
• Cultivating Relationships: 
  • Work with our Social Media Manager and other teams to bring fresh and fun creativity to our accounts that continue to build and tell the Cirkul Story. 
  • Continue to find ways to grow and engage with our community.
  • Have an excellent affinity for emerging trends, technologies, platforms, and influencers.
  • Support and lead junior-level teammates. 
  • Daily community management tasks. 
  • Flexibility and weekend availability for community management as needed.

What background should you have? 

• 1+ years of experience in social media marketing.
• Knowledge of the social media marketing industry.
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-organized with great time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills; Networking aptitude.
• You have experience managing social media campaigns and longer-term strategies.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, proactive, and results-driven; "get-it-done" mentality.
• Great leadership skills. 
• You’ll have experience with social listening and community management tools, e.g., Sprout Social.
