Your Specific Responsibilities:
Volunteer Provider Program (VPP) Coordination
Coordination of the VPP for Citrus County in consultation with the region 4 volunteer program coordinator.
Submits quarterly and annual report of volunteer time and program deliverables as required.
Engage with local medical community to recruit volunteer health care providers.
Interact frequently with registered volunteers.
Determines participant eligibility based on current guidelines
Refers community members to needed health services.
Case management of clients referred to the program, conducting eligibility interviews, scheduling referral appointment with specialists, and follow-up on appointments.
Maintains updated program client records with plans, notes, appropriate forms, or related information.
Contacts clients in person, by phone, or in writing to ensure that they have completed required or recommended actions.
Conducts quality assurance programs to monitor the effectiveness of the program and its partners as pertains to state requirements.
Daily use of computer skills including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Excel. Working with computers to enter data, or process information.
Dental Program
Provides support to dental programs by entering and billing services and providing administrative support.
Travels to schools and other offsite locations with the dental program and assists with transport of supplies and equipment, provision of services, and oral health education.
Provides education to students regarding improving general oral health.
Enters SEALS data per program requirements.
Assists with inventory control and management for dental program.
Support the school health program with data entry into HMS and SEALS.
Assist families in locating and accessing their assigned dental care provider.
