About the Role

The Global Group Controller is responsible for the overseeing the financial operations of the Global Exteriors group including forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and consolidation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze the month end financial results.  This includes having a full understanding of the root causes of any variances and related corrective actions being taken. The results are summarized and reviewed in detail with the Exteriors executive management team
  • Review and approve all weekly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts/budgets for the Group.   This includes having a full understanding of the root causes of any variances and related corrective actions being taken, consolidating regional reporting at the Group level, and reporting the forecasts/budgets into a consolidated Group presentation given to the Exteriors executive management team
  • Review and approve the annual audit files
  • Review, approve, and consolidate periodic Group performance reporting including monthly and quarterly reports
  • Oversee the month end financial close process to ensure the accurate and complete consolidation of all results, including consolidation journal entries, and intercompany management
  • Oversee and lead a team responsible for forecasting, budgeting,  reporting and consolidation
  • Other analysis as required

Physical Demands/Work Environment – Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer, may require travel.

Your preferred qualifications

 

Education/Special Knowledge/Skills – 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (accounting designation preferred).
  • Must have the ability to understand manufacturing operations and their impacts to the financial statements.
  • Must be able to create business cases that drive financial
