The Opportunity

P&G is seeking a meticulous resource with Digital, Order Management & IT skills to join our team as a Senior Digital Innovation Manufacturing Leader – Applications & Platforms. You will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and support of the sites Order Management System (OMS) of our Professional Oral Health (POH) and Direct To Consumer (DTC) Operations, ensuring smooth operations and efficient order processing.  In addition, the candidate will also lead our site application governance program, collaborating with application owners to ensure complete compliance with P&G standards. This position requires a solid understanding of various technologies, programming languages, application lifecycle and systems integration to resolve issues quickly and effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to-day Digital Operations of the sites POH/DTC solutions and across other areas of the Operations.
  • Own the Applications Governance program for the site.
  • Support Digital Initiatives across the Operations.
  • Perform day-to-day troubleshooting of the OMS, including:
    • Resolving issues related to artwork not moving through the system.
    • Setting up new imprint items when receiving orders to ensure accurate processing.
    • Conducting inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate stock levels.
    • Addressing label printing issues to ensure timely shipment processing.
  • Ensure and maintain all OMS solutions comply with Information Security guidelines and policies.
  • Utilize SQL Server to write queries that troubleshoot order status and identify discrepancies.
  • Maintain an awareness of systems and data flow to facilitate effective problem-solving and communication with multi-functional teams.
  • Collaborate across IT, ICA and Operations teams to resolve technical issues and enhance system performance.
  • Support and troubleshoot applications developed in Python, Java, .Net, and Tomcat environments.
  • Manage and maintain label printing processes, including ZPL programming for various label printers.
  • Assist in the integration and support of shipping software, including ConnectShip and cartonization tools.
  • Participate in various projects such as Batch Management, POH Bulk, and Lightning Pick updates, contributing technical expertise and leadership to improve operations.
  • Oversee and manage day to day work of one direct report.

  • Possesses strong customer service skills.  Good temperament, ability to manage stressful situations.  Ability to provide customer-facing support in a professional manner.
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, to optimally collaborate with site leaders, technicians and various central teams.
  • Is competent in using Microsoft Office suite for effective collaboration and communications.
  • Has strong analytical skills, able to use complex data to find opportunities, recognize problems, and draw logical conclusions.
  • Can produce and present technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in order management systems support or a similar technical role.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, including query writing and data analysis.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java and VB .NET.
  • Knowledge of Restful services
  • Familiarity with server management, virtualization, and infrastructure concepts.
  • Application Lifecycle Management – ITIL foundations, ensure application compliance.
  • Availability to work onsite at Iowa City plant loca
