What You'll Do

The typical hiring range for this role is $16 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. The primary responsibility of the Packing role is finishing the manufacturing process of Kerry-Fort Worth products ensuring food safety and quality requirements while meeting the customers’ needs. The Packing may work with other departments, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, and Warehouse throughout the day.
Packing
The Packing role monitors the production process-flow by removing finish products of the conveyors, packing in the box, weighing up to 50lb, palletizing it on pallet at a rate of 10 or more cases per minute. Be able to operate electric pallet jack. Each packing material is visually inspected then placed into the box. Then box is taped and placed on wooden pallet. Damage or faulty materials are discarded. Other regular duties performed on the line are weighing boxes with finish product, verifying date code, recording and scanning pallet information applying labels and assembling boxes.
Teamwork and communication in these areas area a must for this area and each operator is responsible for
keeping the line moving as per the production schedule.
What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe
Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak and understand English effectively
• Packer At least 1 year of similar/same manufacturing experience
Preferred Requirements:
• Packer One (1) year of food manufacturing experience
General Requirements:
• Effectively communicate in English
• Meet physical requirements stand, stretch, lift 2-50lb and work on all weather.
• Work with minimal supervision
