Job Description
NBCU Local is looking for an Analytics Manager with an interest in using data to provide insights for our NBC, Telemundo, and RSN markets. In this role, you will work with editorial, audience development, product, and other partners to create and present actionable data-driven insights. You will also be expected to deliver insights to help us make smart decisions for our audiences and content. You will report to the Director of Analytics. The Manager’s responsibilities will include:
- Create and measure digital KPIs and targets across teams
- Support key business initiatives by generating insights from internal and secondary data sources
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and create data stories or dashboards that help a broad group of stakeholders understand our business
- Engage with key partners (marketing, content, operations, audience development, finance) to understand business objectives and support these objectives through best use of analytics approaches
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in digital analytics focused roles
- A deep understanding of analytics and use of tools such as Adobe Analytics and comScore
- Experience with data visualization tools like Domo, Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI
- Proficient in SQL
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are required
- Excellent presentation skills, and the ability to convey complex data results in a simple and concise way
- Experienced in building, managing, and driving projects from concept through successful completion
- Strong organization, planning, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
Desired Characteristics:
- Proficiency communicating in both English & Spanish
- Understanding of product tagging and data governance
