As a vital member of the NAM Executive Leadership Team, the new CFO role executes the “Partner for Talent” strategy to ensure Randstad remains the most specialized and equitable talent company in the market. Beyond the traditional CFO mandate, this role is designed as a strategic integrator, responsible for synthesizing Randstad’s diverse portfolio of specialties into a unified commercial and financial strategy. This expanded position serves as the primary bridge across our service lines to drive holistic growth and innovation. The mandate is to transform market specialization and equity into measurable shareholder value, ensuring Randstad’s competitive edge is backed by a disciplined, high-performance capital structure. The CFO ensures alignment with global corporate mandates while balancing the specific needs of the local market.

your typical day includes

You will operate as the central architect of our commercial and financial integration, transcending traditional finance boundaries to align our diverse specialties into a cohesive growth engine. Your typical day includes influencing business strategy by providing a rigorous financial lens to commercial execution, managing cash flow planning, forecasting, and oversight of financial reporting, leading regional business-supporting functions such as procurement, facilities, and internal controls, driving transformation initiatives including the transition to the Finance Target Operating Model (TOM), and partnering with global teams on financial assessments and M&A integration.

your responsibilities include

• Optimize top-line growth and bottom-line efficiency through rigorous financial governance and commercial excellence for multiple specializations.
• Drive the adoption of Randstad’s new operating model and lead the regional transition to Global Capability Centers.
• Oversee all finance domains within a global compliance framework to ensure operational integrity.
• Champion digital leadership by leveraging automation, analytics, and RPA to enhance functional scalability.
• Lead the regional finance function while fostering an inclusive, high-performance talent strategy and culture.
• Ensure the delivery of timely, accurate, and meaningful financial information to support rigorous business analysis and operational decisions.
• Lead regional business-supporting functions such as procurement, facilities, internal controls, and shared services, ensuring optimized processes and risk management.

your background

• Over 15 years of progressive finance leadership within large-scale international matrix organizations.
• Extensive experience in high-volume services, FMCG, retail, or distribution sectors with a focus on labor-intensive models.
• Mastery of US GAAP, IFRS, and ASPE supported by deep expertise in internal controls and SOX environments.
• Expertise in Lean methodologies and the successful integration of AI and RPA to drive structural improvement.
