What You’ll Do

  • Support the AFC Modelling team as a data / business analyst to help lead and drive key data initiatives (Data Quality Remediation, Data Controls, Data lineage etc)

  • Deep dive and learn the technical landscape across various Line of business (LOBs) and TM systems

  • Perform root cause and impact analysis related with data impacting Transaction Monitoring (TM) systems and related processes

  • Collaborate with data producers and relevant stakeholders to successfully achieve the Business needs and requirements (i.e., ownership and/or influence on production and digital assets)

Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, MIS, Information Management, or equivalent

  • Exposure to Financial Crime Compliance covering business lines Correspondent Banking, Private Banking, Asset Management (direct exposure to at least two business lines is essential)

  • Strong experience and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Relational Databases concepts including Data Modelling/Designing and Data Analytics tools/techniques, demonstrated strong experience in Relational databases, Structured Query Language (SQL), Big Data Hadoop, Hive Query Language (HQL), Python or R Scripting, Data visualization tools (Good to have) and Job scheduling tools (Control M, Autosys Etc.) is must

  • Exposure to Data Governance framework including Data Quality Assessment Concepts, Data Lineage, Critical Data Elements (CDEs), and Data Controls etc

  • Strong data analysis and data testing skills and ability to write complex SQL/HQL queries coupled with hands-on experience with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel (V-lookup, Pivot etc), Working experience or conceptual understanding of payments wire data, swift messages, and Correspondent banking data is a plus

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
