OVERVIEW

The Accountant’s responsibilities will include financial accounting, reporting, and financial analysis. The candidate will require a thorough knowledge of accounting principles as well as excellent analytical skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Provide accounting support within the Accounting Department.
• Ensure the Company’s compliance with US GAAP.
• Assist in implementing new accounting policies and procedures.
• Lead in the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements.
• Manage the intercompany reconciliations process.
• Analyze financial information and produce various accounting reports.
• Support external audits to ensure compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA required.
• 3+ years’ experience working in the retail industry.
• BS degree in accounting or related business field.
• In-depth understanding of US GAAP.
• Ability to execute deadline driven processes in a dynamic environment.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• International accounting experience is a plus.

The Base Salary Range for this position is $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the Company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
