FINAXAP is undertaking in FY26 the Field Offices Financial Transformation (FOFT) project, which in particular transitions all cross-border payments to a new payment provider. A major undertaking during this project is updating the banking details for all existing suppliers to comply with the requirements of the new payment provider. The task has started in July and will continue to be very time-demanding through the end of the project in December. Mr. Alan Osorio has been recommended to FINAXAP by a colleague from Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) as a strong junior finance professional with extensive experience in handling data for vendor registration, who is reaching his maximum term in IADB. His skillset is an excellent match for the FINAXAP project.

Work objectives and deliverable(s):  

  • Assist the FINAXAP team in updating banking details for existing supplier records to comply with the requirements of the new payment provider.
  • Coordinate as necessary with other team members in FINAXAP and, if needed, other departments to obtain missing data.
  • Assist with data validation for updated records to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Expected output(s) and deadline(s):  

Mr. Osorio will be assigned specific groups of suppliers for the updates, as part of the FINAXAP comprehensive assignments under the project.

Confidentiality:

All information shared during this engagement will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to any third parties without prior consent.

Information systems access:

Mr. Osorio would need access to IMF network and financial systems, including email, OneDrive, Peoplesoft FACTS. Mr. Osorio would be expected to maintain compliance with IMF information security training.

Total days: 90 days maximum per financial year (non-consecutive)
