WHAT YOU’LL DO:
AMS.NET, an MGT Company is looking for a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Networking Pre-Sales in Southern California that will be responsible for acting as the primary technical resource for the customer and AMS.NET Account Manager. The position is responsible for assessing customer needs and tailoring customized solutions that are moderate to complex in nature to fit business needs.
The Solutions Architect is well versed in all market offerings in enterprise networking and works closely with the account team to ensure full accuracy of the solution design during the lifecycle of the sale. Also, this position can explain, position, and justify costs related to AMS.NET/MGT solutions.
In this role, you will also be responsible for leveraging deep functional and technical expertise to design solutions that solve customer’s ever-changing business and technology challenges. This role will plan and direct all presale aspects of engineering activities covering enterprise network infrastructure, including but not limited to routing, switching, and wireless. Solution Architect must be motivated, quick thinking, detail oriented, a good communicator, and a strong leader and self-starter with the ability to work with little direction, make sound decisions, work effectively with and get results from others. Establish relationships with key decision-makers to become the customers trusted advisor.
In this role you will:
- Engages with customers and their use case and proposes industry-leading solutions design and architectures that align technology initiatives with customer business objectives/experiences.
- Develops and executes technical sales plans and proposals based on competitive RFP, RFQ, RFI.
- Updates the sales team on new products and services.
- Builds in-depth knowledge of clients' technical and business priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into solution opportunities.
- Uses the Solution Center and other available resources to provide customer demos and training.
- Attends customer meetings to assist Account Managers with presentations and technical reviews.
- Becomes familiar with new products and services.
- Whiteboards IT strategies, vendor recommendations, and business recommendations.
- Aligns the business needs of customers and prospects to a technical solution and presents the solution to the customer in terms of business benefits.
- Presents technology roadmaps, technology trends, and industry priorities.
- Originates and architects detailed design, engineering, and implementation specifications for next-generation networks and solutions.
- Delivers quality documentation to support pre-sales efforts, including solution Bill of Materials, Configurations, Statement of Works, and Proposals.
- As needed, assists the Marketing Department by attending and providing technical assistance at tradeshows, designing presentations, and speaking at Webinars.
