Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.


Key job responsibilities
The GSS team is seeking a passionate, customer-obsessed, results oriented Senior Product Manager - Technical to manage the strategic direction (business and technology), incubation, development, and business aspects of the GSS products. This will include roadmap planning; delivering new features, usability, and product performance; and supporting go to market strategies. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with teams across AWS Global Services, AWS Security teams, legal, finance, marketing, and customers. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, strategic, and adept at managing multiple work streams at the same time in order to build repeatable and scalable processes and mechanisms. You must enjoy spending time with customers (internal and external) to understand their needs, and to define innovative solutions that meet customer’s requirements. You are able to influence technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions to achieve a desired customer or business outcome. You have a passion for solving complex business challenges and thrive on constantly improving the customer experience.

Basic Qualifications


- 4+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines
