Data Center Mechanical Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in mission critical facility design, construction environments, and their mechanical infrastructure.
• 3 years of experience with mechanical infrastructure systems such as HVAC, cooling systems, and water system engineering.
• 3 years of experience with data center operations and working with mechanical contractors and cross-functional project teams.
• 3 years of experience with electro/mechanical assembly and mechanical testing procedures including resolution and comprehensive documentation maintenance for mechanical designs.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or other relevant fields, or a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Experience in designing complex modular building scale assemblies, with an understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles with a focus in the areas of design for medium-scale production, structural beams/elements, and international building codes.

As a Data Center Mechanical Engineer, you will join our growing team in the Charleston, SC Metro. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, implementation, and management of mechanical systems for our data centers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the Engineer of Record (EOR), to ensure our facilities are built to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$174,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
