Responsibilities

Understand User Requirements

• • Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project manager, technical lead) to determine user requirements for a scenario. Leverages a variety of feedback channels to incorporate insights into future designs or solution fixes. Ensures appropriate continuous feedback loops measuring customer value, usage patterns, and other actionable metrics of value are incorporated.
  • Designing and developing highly usable and scalable new application capabilities and enhancing existing capabilities to meet the needs of our customers.
• Coding
  • Design, implementation, and testing of both client-side and server-side code. 
  • Building responsive web experiences that look great across multiple devices and browsers. 
  • Leads by example within the team by producing extensible and maintainable code. Optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Apply metrics to drive the quality and stability of code, as well as appropriate coding patterns and best practices.

  • Architect and run projects cross organization.
  • Investigating and prototyping new technologies and frameworks 
  • Accountability for the quality, usability, performance, and overall end to end implementation of features.
  • Deploy and support our services for partner teams and our customers.

  • Writing and maintaining unit tests and automated integration tests.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience with client-side frameworks like EmberJS, AngularJS or React.  
• Experience with Azure technologies
• Experience with Scrum, Test-Driven Development and Continuous Deployment.
