Applicants must be located in Boston and currently be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program. Role starts January 6th and will be a minimum of 35 hours per week.

The Opportunity: 

The Human Resources Co-op will support core HR operations and gain hands-on experience across multiple HR functions. This full-time, six-month opportunity is ideal for students seeking exposure to onboarding, employee data management, reporting, and program administration. The role offers a chance to contribute to meaningful projects while learning how HR drives organizational success. 

This is a hybrid role for candidates based in the Boston, MA area.

What you will do:

Onboarding & Employee Experience 

  • Assist with new hire onboarding logistics and documentation 
    Conduct new hire check-ins and gather feedback to improve onboarding experience 

HR Administration 

  • Support employee change processes including manager changes, salary adjustments, promotions, and internal transfers 
    Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems accordingly 

Data & Reporting 

  • Compile and consolidate people data for interim reporting needs (e.g., headcount, PTO, performance management) 
    Assist in preparing reports for HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders 

Offboarding 

  • Support voluntary termination processes including documentation, system updates, and exit logistics 
  • Program Administration 
  • Coordinate logistics for HR programs such as performance management,  recognition programs 
    Assist with scheduling, communications, and tracking participation 

Projects & Process Improvement (AI) 

  • Contribute to ongoing HR projects focused on improving operational efficiency 
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and support ad hoc tasks as needed 

 

Who you are:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 
    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) 
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
    Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion 
    Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
