Purchasing Quality Engineer -- Plastics

<h3>Job Description</h3><p> </p><p>1. Defines preventive quality elements for each component and supplier based on the understood cause and effect relationships (e.g. DRBFM-systematic)<br/> 2. Ensures iterative handling of Special Characteristics under consideration of the complete value (supply) chain<br/> • With engineering and manufacturing in SE-Team (documented in CDQ0306 list)<br/> • Integrates supplier feedback regarding manufacturability and testing concept<br/> 3. Participates in sourcing meeting with focus on quality aspects<br/> 4. Defines sampling requirements, evaluation and release of samples (new parts and changes)<br/> 5. Triggers and releases measuring comparison before initial sampling (measuring done by PQA)<br/> 6. Content review of P-FMEA and control plan<br/> 7. Defines and validates traceability requirements with supplier<br/> 8. Defines and follows-up Safe Launch activities (EPC and <a href="mailto:Run@Rate">Run@Rate</a>)<br/> 9. Considers series experience / lessons learned of other projects</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>1. Degree in engineering<br/> 2. Expert for quality methods and tools (FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, IATF 16949, VDA6)<br/> 3. Analytical thinking as well as independent and systematic approach<br/> 4. Collaborative skills, flexibility and assertiveness<br/> 5. Willingness to travel<br/> 6. English skills B2 (upper intermediate)<br/> 7. Several years of professional experience in Production or Quality management<br/> 8. Leadership approach in project management in cross functional teams<br/> 9. 4+ years in automotive manufacturing environment. Quality systems experience / expertise including auditing, Good understanding on GD&amp;T. Desirable previous experience as SQA, STA or SQE<br/> 10. Excellent communication skills, work well independently, high motivated and results oriente</p>
