Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the proper budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for all income statements and balance sheet line items of the financial statements, mainly within the SkyTrak business unit. In addition, this individual is responsible for driving in-depth financial analysis, strategic planning, and strategic decision support for the senior leaders in the organization. A successful applicant will ultimately possess strong work ethic, drive, and adaptability in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the budget and forecasting process for the SkyTrak simulator business unit to meet reporting requirements of parent company and operational needs.
- Perform financial and strategic analyses, along with developing complex financial models for the business unit in collaboration with operating groups to improve performance for all areas of the SkyTrak business.
- Develop the team’s reporting, including monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc analysis of key performance metrics.
- Overall management of financial decision support for key stakeholders including financial plan evaluation, coordination, and productivity/efficiency planning and implementation.
- Drive process improvements and automate financial systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function.
- Collaborate with all levels of the organization to improve insight and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated track record of leadership, development, and mentorship that leads to the growth of a finance team.
- Embraces personal leadership development, with an openness to stretch and pursue leadership range and flexibility.
- Partner with leadership to develop a roadmap for enhancing financial reporting, reporting analytics, and systems administration processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or experience in Finance, Investment Banking, or Accounting
- 4+ years of total work experience
- Experience with Ecomm and Retail industries preferred
- Publicly traded companies experience preferred
- Familiarity with robust ERP & reporting software (Adaptive, NetSuite, Oracle, Planful, etc)
- Outstanding attention to detail and a high level of organization
- Effective at multitasking and prioritization to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
