We are looking for a Logistics Admin Assistant to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Lubbock, TX.

The Logistics Admin Assistant will provide support to our Distribution Manager, Seeds Site logistics managers and staff daily, as well as working with BASF plants, BASF customer service, vendors, and customers directly to ensure objectives are meet in a timely and safe manner.

During your work shift as a Logistics Admin Assistant, you will

  • Order batch selection, pick up, and delivery scheduling.

  • Support processing plants with blend sheets and packaging materials.

  • Create shipping units (SUs) for warehouse team members upon material receipt.
  • Handle returns and collaborate with customer service for necessary changes.
  • Maintain organized record keeping and follow retention guidelines.
  • File and store shipping documents for each season, following retention guidelines.
  • Enter delivery, shipments, Goods Receipts (GR), and Service Entry Sheet (SES) into SAP system.
  • Provide Bill of Lading (BOL) documents to truck drivers.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates.

If you...

 

  • Have a High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of administrative or related experience.
  • Have strong knowledge and skills in SAP, MS office suite, and knowledge in procurement and experience with purchase orders.
  • Are able to manage daily office functions, and function well with short timelines and multiple activities, and handle confidential information.
  • Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Have broad experience working with all levels in a matrix global organization.
