1st Shift Production Technician-HPL Wood Tops

KI's Manufacturing plant in Bonduel is looking for an energetic team player to work on our first shift in our High Pressure Laminate (HPL) Wood Tops department. In this department, technicians are responsible for the manufacturing of our wood table tops.

Successful candidates will ensure the quality of the product, maintain a clean and safe working environment.

This is a first shift position. Hours are primarily 5am-2pm with overtime and weekends required during peak production (summer months).

This position could rotate between different areas of the Wood Table Tops Department as assigned by the manager.

Responsibilities Include:
Detail/Pack
Detail/Pack technicians currently work in pairs. They read shop orders to ensure the products have been completed correctly, clean laminate table tops, trim the edges, and pack onto a pallet.

Packaging
Technicians must be able to wrap and band skids, build crates, v-board, and stretch wrap.

Qualified candidates will be highly motivated, inquisitive team players. Training will be provided on equipment but previous experience with manufacturing is preferred.

Successful completion of a drug screen will be required.
