IT Project Manager

Duties May Include:

• Initiate, plan, and manage information technology projects across multiple HRD systems and platforms
• Lead and guide technical teams in system implementations, migrations, and enhancements
• Coordinate with Government Work Assignment Managers on task scheduling, priorities, and resource allocation
• Manage contract deliverables, performance metrics, and financial status reporting
• Ensure compliance with DOI, IBC, and HRD government policies and procedures
• Facilitate communication between contractor staff, government personnel, and stakeholders

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of progressive IT project management experience
• Experience managing government IT contracts and teams in federal environments
• Demonstrated knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies including Agile and SAFe
• Experience with enterprise systems supporting HR, payroll, or financial operations
• Strong understanding of federal IT security requirements and NIST guidelines
• Ability to obtain and maintain NACI/Moderate Background Investigation clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification
• Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience with Software AG products (Natural, ADABAS)
• Knowledge of federal personnel and payroll systems (FPPS experience highly preferred)
• Experience with GSA STARS III or similar GWAC vehicles
