Demant is a leading Hearing Care company that is committed to delivering exceptional products/services to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Director of Commercial Excellence and Insights to join our dynamic team.

 

As the Senior Director of Commercial Excellence and Insights, you will serve as a key member of the INDY leadership team, reporting directly to the VP/GM of Oticon Independent. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the VP/GM of INDY, VP/GM of Government Services, VP/GM of Phillips, and their respective leadership teams, while also engaging with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Business Intelligence, and external customers.

 

You will lead the strategic vision and execution of data-driven initiatives that accelerate revenue growth, enhance sales effectiveness, and elevate customer engagement. By delivering actionable insights, comprehensive market intelligence, and competitive analyses, you will empower the organization to make informed, high-impact decisions.

This role includes direct oversight of one analyst and requires a strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational strategy. Your leadership will shape the direction of the business, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

1. Lead, Inspire the Commercial Excellence and Insights team

o Develop and articulate a compelling vision that aligns with corporate objectives, inspiring and empowering team members to innovate, excel, and deliver exceptional results. Coach, develop and performance manage the Commercial Excellence and Insights team to ensure retention of top performers, development of consistent performers and driving accountability to the expectations for under performers.

 

2. Drive the development and delivery of impactful, executive-level presentations that shape INDY's communication strategy, encompassing monthly all-hands meetings, executive reviews, and annual strategic updates. Advanced Sales Strategy Development

o Partner with sales leaders to optimize resource deployment, territory planning, sales quotas, and incentive programs. This role will be responsible for the execution of compensation payment in collaboration with the finance and HR teams.

o Lead the development and execution of data-driven sales forecasts, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning to ensure alignment with organizational goals and market dynamics. Implement and manage sales analytics tools, systems, and processes to support data-driven decision-making.

o Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and contribute to strategic discussions.

o Implement best practices, sales methodologies, and automation tools to enhance efficiency.

o Design, implement, and sustain comprehensive sales playbooks and training programs to empower the sales team with effective strategies and tools for success. Development of a Bi-annual review of current programs and processes that focuses on innovation and investment to drive accelerated growth and share gain; this plan is to be completed by Dec 1 and May 1 of each year to ensure timing for budgeting and investment.

o Streamline and improve the sales process from lead generation to post-sales support.

 

3. Data Analysis and Insights

o This role will create and conduct high level analysis to convey business trends, opportunities and risks. Translate insights into actionable recommendations to senior leadership and ensuring data is available to ensure success.

o Development and maintenance of Key metric dashboard collaborating with BI, INDY, Government Services and Phillips that provide visibility into performance metrics and KPIs.

o Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, market gaps, and opportunities for growth.

o Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sales strategies and initiatives.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams both global and local, including Marketing, Learning and Development, IT and finance, to ensure alignment and synergy in business initiatives.

o Lead forecasting for USHA team, collaborating with commercial team leaders and the operations team.

o Alignment with Key stakeholders in Denmark to maximize resource identification and utilization for Commercial Excellence and Insights team.

o Develop training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales and marketing teams.
