We are seeking a Transportation Engineer or Planner to join our Raleigh, NC office (other surrounding locations may also be considered).

How will you contribute to the team?
Assist in the development and implementation of transportation plans, roadways, bicycle, pedestrian, and multimodal systems, ensuring alignment with regional and statewide mobility goals and plans.
Conduct research, data collection, and analysis related to transportation demand, traffic flow, and mobility patterns using various tools and software (e.g., travel demand modeling, GIS, etc.).
Support transportation studies by preparing reports, forecasts, and technical documents that help inform project decision-making.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, communities, and private sector clients, and ensure project outcomes meet the needs of diverse populations.
Participate in public engagement activities by attending meetings, workshops, and outreach events to gather input and communicate plans to the public.
Analyze traffic operations, congestion management, and safety improvement measures, offering recommendations to enhance efficiency and safety across transportation networks.
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, such as environmental specialists and urban planners, to ensure the integration of transportation systems with broader land use and environmental planning goals.
What will you contribute?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning, Engineering or related field.
5 years’ experience since Bachelor's or four years since Master's.
P.E. license or AICP certification is desired.
