JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS OVERVIEW:

Provides maintenance support for plant-wide quality production including maintaining proper records for work orders, fulfilling verbal and written requests and maintaining other associated production/maintenance paperwork Interacts with Plant Engineer on special projects Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts as well as cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Utilize efficient and effective use of equipment and tool resources to minimize waste, downtime and unit costs Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment. Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as programmable controllers. Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, and tools.
