approach. </p><p><br/><strong>Role overview</strong>:</p><p>As a<strong> Senior Embedded Software Engineer</strong>, you'll join
our embedded software team to help develop and maintain critical
software for our launch vehicles Baguette One and OB-You’ll work
hand-in-hand with the rest of the development teams to bring robust and certifiable software to life for our launch vehicles Baguette One, OB-1.</p><p>This is an opportunity to work on
embedded systems that fly, while applying rigorous engineering standards
in a high-stakes environment.</p><p><strong>Your key responsibilities</strong>:</p><p>As a part of the engine avionics team, you
will be an active contributor in the full development lifecycle of
embedded software, from requirements to integration and testing.</p><p><strong>Your main responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ul>
<li>Write and maintain<strong> C++ </strong>code for safety-critical embedded systems. </li>
<li>Lead everyday technical activities of the software team (on the full software lifecycle)</li>
<li> Organize and follow the technical work</li>
<li>Work with the system team on software requirements analysis, specification, and traceability.</li>
<li>Contribute and validate software design, implementation, and low-level testing (unit and integration).</li>
<li>Follow and apply critical software development standards (e.g., ECSS, DO-178).</li>
<li>Being a technical referent and provide technical guidance to the rest of the team</li>
<li>Ensure that the development goes in the right direction to support validation, qualification, and certification processes.</li>
<li>Collaborate with electronics, systems, and quality teams to ensure robust and compliant software delivery.</li>
<li>Conduct code reviews, and in root cause analysis of software issues.<br/></li>

</ul><p><strong>Who we are looking for</strong>:</p><p>You are a <strong>embedded software enginner with 7+ years of experience</strong> who is motivated to work on complex and critical embedded systems. You
are excited by the idea of contributing to real flight software in a
demanding, structured development environment.</p><p><strong>Your core qualifications, skills and mindset</strong>:</p><ul>
<li>Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>Solid foundation in embedded C++ programming and real-time systems.<br/></li>
<li>Knowledge of usual peripheral communication buses (i2c, SPI, UART) </li>
<li>Familiarity with microcontrollers and bare-metal microcontrollers.</li>
<li>Experience in developing critical software (e.g., via coursework, internships, or academic projects).</li>
<li>Familiarity with software development methodologies used for
safety/mission-critical systems (e.g., V-model, ECSS, DO-178, ISO
26262).</li>
<li>Comfortable reading datasheets, working with technical standards, and documenting your work clearly.</li>
<li>Experience with versioning (Git, Gitlab) and CI tools</li>
<li>A curious, meticulous, and team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to share your knowledge.</li>

</ul><p><strong>Bonus points if you have</strong>:</p><ul>
<li>Knowledge of modern C++ (eg. 20)</li>
<li>Familiarity with RTOS, STM32, automotive MCUs.</li>
<li>Experience with debugging tools, simulators, or hardware-in-the-loop setups.</li>
<li>Experience with Rust programming.</li>
<li>Knowledge of build tools (make, cmake, Bazel, Yocto)</li>
<li>Some exposure to Python or scripting tools for automation and testing.</li>
<li>Experience with deterministic ethernet-based protocols</li>
<li>Knowledge of field buses (1553, CANOpen)</li>
