Summary:

  • Lead Generation: Assist in identifying new business opportunities through lead generation by conducting research, reaching out to potential clients, and attending industry events or networking functions.
  • Sales Support: Provide sales support by collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement strategies aimed at driving hotel group bookings and increasing market share.
  • Client Interaction: Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing outstanding service and addressing their needs, while helping to deliver tailored hotel solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Help prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, showcasing the hotel’s offerings and ensuring alignment with their event or accommodation needs.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on competitors, industry trends, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities and stay informed about market changes.
  • CRM Management: Assist in managing client information and updating the sales pipeline using SalesForce.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior sales team members, hotel operations, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for sales leader, including preparing reports, tracking client interactions, and scheduling meetings.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in the hospitality industry and hotel sales to contribute effectively to the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build relationships and engage with clients in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Positive, proactive, and self-motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred
