Location: New York City-based hybrid schedule - 3 days per week, every other week in the Soho office. Must reside within a commutable location. ​

The patient journey workstream aims to leverage analytics insights and partnership with key business and operations teams across the organization to deliver a seamless and consumer-centered experience to individuals interacting across multiple CVSH assets. Via a fully deidentified data environment we are able to explore data from over 7 different business units ranging from retail to clinical data, offering a unique opportunity to access data of over 100M CVSH customers. The team will leverage the connected data environment to create a common and comprehensive understanding of how key consumer segments currently interact with each of our businesses. In addition, we aim to identify, prioritize, and execute on initiatives which will impact consumers in “moments that matter” and improve consumer sentiment and health outcomes. Day to day data science work includes exploratory data analysis, identification and consolidation of key data assets, and customer journey analytics exercises. A successful candidate will be one which is able to think independently and critically, enjoys ambiguous problems with data, highly adaptable, and loves to collaborate with both technical and non-technical business leaders.

What you will do:

  • Consult with internal clients to identify opportunities to implement data science solutions to business problems at a basic level.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with strategy consulting concepts and analytical storytelling.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with data engineering concepts.
  • Work with manager and members of a single team.
  • Present recommendations to the manager of the team.
  • Collaborate with one or more business partners to understand their problems and goals, develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics.
  • Consult on the creation of analytics solutions that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs using a basic understanding of business strategy as well as relevant big data environment topics.
  • Act as an analytics product owner translating business needs into analytics projects and actions.
  • Lead development of analytics solutions with low complexity and risk.
  • Understand and recommends modeling techniques to junior team members.


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of business experience leading analyses and initiatives with track record of business impact using data driven insights; minimum 2 years total business experience.
  • 2+ years of experience strategy consulting or on strategy teams in large companies.
  • 2+ years of experience with Databases using SQL
  • 1 year experience programming using R, Hadoop, or Python
  • Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources
  • Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur
  • Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare sector experience preferred
  • Demonstrates proficiency in most areas of mathematical analysis methods, machine learning, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling and in-depth specialization in some areas
  • Experience is customer journey analytics, customer journey mapping, healthcare economics
  • Experience with business case development
  • Experience with end to end experiment design (from sizing to design to execution to measurement)


Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor degree in quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
  • Master's Degree in quantitative field or MBA strongly preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,915.00 - $175,100.00
