About the team

Our Corporate Reporting team is an integral part of Deloitte's internal finance department. Comprising dedicated professionals in Operational Finance, Corporate Reporting, Strategic Projects, and Business Finance, we oversee the financial management of all Deloitte activities. As we embark on a journey to become more Nordic, business-oriented, and value-focused, we are seeking individuals who can contribute to our vision of becoming the best finance department in the region.

 

About the job 

As a Finance Reporting Specialist, you will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, actionable, and insightful management and BI reporting solutions and tools. Your role will be instrumental in supporting Deloitte's ambitious growth plans, facilitating sound management decisions, and optimizing performance management. You will also play a pivotal role in enhancing our current reporting suite, both locally and within the Nordic region.

 

In this role, you will make an impact by:

  • Collaborate as a core team member in the scoping, design, and testing of BI reporting solutions in coordination with colleagues from Finance, IT, and various business units, both locally and within the Nordic region.
  • Build strong relationships across the Finance organization and other functions to thoroughly understand business needs and requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Finance-owned reporting data and planning models to support management reporting and planning processes.
  • Analyze and prioritize reporting process issues and maintain a comprehensive overview of incidents and change requests.
  • Take the initiative in driving progress and independently solving complex problems.
  • Actively participate in the continuous development and optimization of financial processes and tools, and support high-priority ad hoc requests and projects.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A master's degree with a strong academic track record in Finance, Economics, IT, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience working within a finance department, preferably in an international organization, with a solid financial knowledge and skillset.
  • A robust business understanding and a passion for improving reporting processes and applications.
  • Proficiency in quantitative skills related to data handling and modeling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English being a requirement.
