Position overview
allnex is looking for a service-oriented, self-directed and proactive materials replenishment planner to join the supply chain team of our world-renowned industrial coating resins company. This position is broadly responsible for procuring and maintaining finished stock for our sampling and customer evaluation programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage stock against defined portfolio stocking strategies, ensuring continual alignment between product managers, the commercial team and the broader supply chain.
- Work with various sites to procure various materials per agreed stocking strategies.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between allnex and our third-party liaison for sample shipments.
- Ensure completion of transactional processes within SAP.
- Proactively communicate with the commercial and customer service teams to drive solutions and resolutions where appropriate.
- Work with planning and SC leadership to manage the health of your materials, including disposal, re-qualification, etc.
Required skills and experience
- Two years of experience in a supply planning environment (or comparable experience in other supply chain disciplines).
- Good understanding of materials resource planning and order management processes.
- SAP knowledge (SAP MM) desirable.
- Computer and software literacy (Microsoft Office, etc.) strongly desired.
Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
