What you’ll do
The Specialist Disposition Just-in-Sequence Parts reports to the Manager Material Disposition NAR / Just-in-sequence / Batteries and is responsible for ramp up of just-in-sequence deliveries for Scout Motors Inc.
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Collaborate in developing, designing and implementing of planning concepts and projects for the Just-in-Sequence material control.
- Support the Just-in-sequence suppliers in the implementation of own processes as transportation, infrastructure, packaging, scheduling and equipment to ensure a cost optimal and reliable delivery of parts.
- Initiating, coordinating and enforcing appropriate measures for the entire activities of the Just-in-sequence supply (e.g. parts lists, disposition releases and their advance information, security circulations)
- Early identification of potential risks in the supply chain including the examination of the capacities of the Just-in-sequence suppliers,
- Active development and cross-departmental alignment and follow up of countermeasures as part of the bottleneck control including monitoring of the parts inventory.
- Clarification and sustainable elimination of problems of the Just-in-sequence supply. (e.g. coordination and responsible monitoring of the accuracy and stability of IT processes).
- Identifying, processing and maintaining data for part inventory management and control,
- Establishing an ongoing, constructive and cooperative communication with the just-in-sequence suppliers.
- Developing, editing, monitoring and optimizing the entire material flow and the delivery program as well as the production programs with the Just-in-sequence suppliers.
- Assume special tasks corresponding to the skills and duties of the job holder
- This Role is carried out responsibly in factual cooperative collaboration with supervisors, employees, involved and affected departments - in compliance with existing guidelines, standards and regulations
Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- 3+ years of professional experience in automotive production and logistics (e.g, inbound/outbound logistics, supplier management, container management, JIT/JIS)
- Experience in automotive logistics supplier management focused of Just-in-sequence Processes desirable
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics or related fields
- Strong technical skills in networking, hardware and software systems as well as process design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
- Ability to independently work in a fast-paced environment and manage
