We’re looking for a senior APEX developer with deep experience of developing and delivering large complex enterprise systems that scale to support tens of thousands of users. You will work within a world class development team and get involved in the design, development & deployment of various new enterprise applications that will all be built with APEX.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, confident in their abilities, fast-paced, and lives and breathes APEX
development. Due to the sophisticated nature of the systems we are developing, candidates should be experienced in developing from the most complex of requirements and be able to translate those into great working applications that can scale. If that excites you, then this is where you want to be.
We want to bring order to chaos and develop world class software that provides a far superior user experience, and we're doing this at every step of the way. We're looking for someone that can complement our development team and expand our capacity to deliver.
You should feel at home with full-cycle design and standards-based development within an Oracle APEX context, and have solid knowledge of data modeling, SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, and general web development technologies.

Preferred minimum qualifications include the following:
- Minimum 10 years of Oracle APEX experience is required
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with most of the following (OK if you are less experienced on a couple):
- Oracle Database
- Data Modeling
- PL/SQL
- HTML/CSS
- Web Development
- Extensive UX and Design experience
- JavaScript / AJAX
- JSON / RESTful Web Services
- Version Control (Git preferred, but not required)
- AngularJS
- NodeJS
- Ruby APIs
- Java APIs
- Web Widgets
- Experience with UNIX systems and CLI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with individuals across the organization
- Build and Enhance automation tools to improve speed to market and product quality
- Experience working with Agile development frameworks
- Ability to mentor junior developers
- Application development experience in a government a bonus

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.
