Senior Credit Control Analyst

Please note that the position holder works in shift and that this role is offered on a fixed-term basis until 2028.06.30

In this role You will:

  • Effective cash collection and monitoring of customer accounts (or own portfolio – may be cross-business or cross-country responsibility) consistent with BP’s credit standard & policies and preparing collection reports.

  • Monitor credit and fraud violations and inform / involve all relevant collaborators within their DOA

  • Dealing with customers’ accounts and keeping these fully reconciled

  • Adhere to the Team’s regular Key Performance Indicators

  • Deal promptly with customer disputes / issues

  • Maintain and develop working relationship with Cross-functions (incl: Sales, Customer Service team etc.)

  • Be able to identify key, strategic or high-risk business customers and issues and take actions together with the relevant collaborators

  • Use all communication channels to resolve issues and perform daily tasks

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement efforts; initiate and raise „quick wins” where these are relevant

  • Manage order blocks, review/resolve all credit-held deliveries and customer restrictions.

  • Provide operational support for junior team members; assisting in development enquiries, demonstrating senior mindset.

  • Support Line Manager / Leads in all projects, systems implementations, strategic topics and any ad hoc activities needed

What You will need to be successful:

  • Fluency in English

  • Previous credit control / cash collection or customer service experience (2+ years)

  • Any kind of College Degree or Economics (High School) with relevant language skills

  • Ability and willingness to work in shifts

  • Ability to deal with complex situations while maintaining the right balance of customer and business focus

  • Good level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awareness.

  • Effective problem solving mindset.
