IHC in Indianapolis seeks a skilled HR Generalist proficient in Paylocity to join our vibrant team! This on site role at our corporate office involves ensuring the efficient execution of HR processes and initiatives, which is pivotal in driving our organization’s success. 

The HR Generalist is essential to IHC’s mission of client satisfaction and employee training/retention. The ideal candidate will have experience in Payloicty and be able to handle multiple priorities, such as HR-related payroll functions, leave of absence, benefits administration, and automating HR processes. The HR Generalist will also assist the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment initiatives. 

Overview:

•  Lead the charge in digital transformation, cutting paper trails, and automating processes
•  Assists with the coordination of annual open enrollment
•  Counsels’ employees on benefit offerings
•  Navigate employee benefit coverage issues as needed
•  Provide confidential, professional responses to employee inquiries
•  Support managers in crafting disciplinary and performance-enhancement strategies
•  Engage in policy development and breathe new life into our Employee Handbook
•  Innovate job descriptions that resonate with IHC’s mission and legal standards
•  Master our cloud-based payroll and human management software system (HCM)
•  Assist the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment initiatives 
•  Ensure compliance with federal and state laws
•  Assist and attend job fairs and recruitment events, spreading the IHC spirit
•  Travel to health centers across the state to provide direct HR support

Requirements

•  Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related degree 
•  Healthcare HR experience that includes payroll functions, leave of absence, and benefits administration 
•  Two or more years of Paylocity experience 
•  Experienced in all aspects of the recruitment process
•  Strong technology skill set to streamline processes to increase productivity and efficiency
•  Service-oriented and collaborative approach and is skilled in follow-up tasks
•  Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
•  Highly meticulous with excellent organizational skills  
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•  Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills  
•  Valid Indiana driver's license and ability to travel to IHC locations as needed (15-20%)

•  SHRM or HRCI certification
