The individual selected for this role will be an essential part of the Power & Actuation contracts team by supporting multi-functional teammates with preparing and delivering data submittals for various programs and customers. This includes but is not limited to reviewing submittals to ensure compliance with Collins policy and contractual requirements, as well as managing volume, frequency, quality, and on time delivery of submittals.

A Data Manager’s typical week includes communicating and preparing upcoming due dates to the program team, monitoring timely receipt of data submittals from functional teammates, reviewing large files to ensure proper export classification markings and data assertions are made, communicating with the end use customer, and delivering compliant data submittals into respective customer websites.

Candidates selected for this role will report to the Sr. Contracts Manger for the Power and Actuation program area and will support program data submittals.

This role will be performed HYBRID from our Collins location in Rockford, IL.

Responsibilities:

Data submittals, also known as CDRL(s) or SDRL(s), are often an essential part of the contract performance and supply the end user with critical program information. Data submittals may at times be assigned to customer payment milestone or specific contractual due dates and may have varying degrees of importance. Understanding both customer and company desires and meeting contractual commitments will be a critical aspect of this role.   • Ensure compliance with Collins policy and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure that proper export markings, data assertion, and distribution statements are applied to documents correctly.
  • Ensure authorization of 3rd party proprietary documentation approvals are received and archived prior to end use submittal.
  • High attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Reviewing Data deliverables and ensuring compliance (40%)
  • Reviewing Contract Statement of Work (SOW) (10%)
  • Preparing Data deliverables for submittal (50%)
  • Develop deliverable road map and schedules
  • On-Time Delivery (OTD) Reports
  • Look-ahead reports
  • Review proposal Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Power Point slides for submittal reports

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
