The Senior Director of Global Deal Desk will serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor on a global scale to sales executives, the channel, finance, professional services, legal and their teams. This role will develop and implement best practice on deal structures aligned with corporate goals for growth through, net new logo acquisition, existing account penetration and expansion, resulting in theattainment of new and the preservation of existing annual recurring revenue and billings, aligned with corporate goals.
This position will own the deal desk function globally and will directly manage all regional and business segment deal desk analysts. This high-visibility role will lead a high performance team who will be able to work cross functionally to drive bookings attainment for sales while balancing corporate goals and structuring deals which enable alignment of bookings to revenue. This position will also be pivotal in getting the Deal Desk to the next level of customer service excellence by continuing to foster a Deal Desk culture of change, increased responsibility and greater salesenablement.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Partners, Finance, Legal, Professional Services and operations teams. This role sits in the Sales & Revenue organization with a strong focus on improving sales productivity, customer attainment and retention and bookings to revenue targets across all salessegments globally.

What you'll do:
- Lead, coach and guide the global Deal Desk in pursuit of operational excellence
- Develop and implement approval tiers by role which balance deal approval efficiency and contract/finance diligence
- Serve as advisor and approver to Deal Desk managers for non-standard deal structures and negotiation paths
- Partner with cross-functional business for deal inception, pricing, negotiation, contracts, closure and reporting; this includes Finance, Sales Systems, Sales Finance, Commissions, Order
- Operations, Revenue Accounting, Sales Representatives, Sales Leadership, Legal, Contracts, etc.
- Serve as a trusted adviser to sales executives and their teams on pricing, product configuration, and business terms to support the sales effort
- Ensure compliance with published sales, finance and business policies
- Lead and partner with the Sales and Finance Systems teams on the design, deployment and support of self-service sales enablement for proposal generation within established guidelines
- Partner with the Sales Systems team on development, launch and reporting of deal performance metrics
- On an ongoing basis, work with the Deal Desk, business partners and sales leadership to identify process improvement and/or sales training opportunities
- Team management responsibilities to drive strategic and operational deal coverage while supporting scaling efficiency and value impact
- Drive and maintain the deal strategy and operational best practices and deal performance tracking
- Work with product management, broader business planning teams including P&P, Business Value and Compete along with IT to support successful rollout of new offers and programs to market
- This role requires strong cross functional executive collaboration and influence along with the ability to deal with ambiguity, come up with creative solutions and drive urgency with quarterly business cadence while transforming for scale
- This leader will have The person in this role will work across GTM leadership and cross-functional support teams such as Legal and Finance to determine the best deal structures as we ramp up the business
