What You’ll Do
As a Calibration Technician , you’ll be part of a team located in Fullerton, CA.
The calibration technician is principally responsible for the successful execution and management of all internal and external instrument calibration work.
Duties include:
- Tests, calibrates, adjusts and maintains dimensional and electronic test equipment to set standards.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot non-operational instruments.
- Organize and release gage kits to production floor.
- Create, maintain, and execute calibration procedures for various instrumentation and equipment.
- Validate calibration methods and create/modify calibration procedures as required.
- Maintain calibration and repair schedules.
- Maintain calibration database for all internal and external instruments and monitor due dates, perform calibrations, and generate calibration paperwork (certificates and reports).
- Coordinate all calibration with external calibration vendors for instruments that cannot be calibrated internally. Review all external certifications for compliance to industry standards.
- Evaluate calibration vendors based on qualification and expertise and monitor their performance.
- Participate in audits by customers and third-party organizations.
- Perform measurement system analyses for specific programs/applications.
- Perform system accuracy tests (SAT) for thermal processing equipment.
Who You Are

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Training in principles of metrology.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience in quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 17025).
- Familiarity with calibration standards (ISO 10012, ISO 17025, ANSI Z540).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. in a wide variety of motions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office applications is a plus as is being both organized, attentive to detail and safety conscious.
