Role Purpose
The rotational Team Lead will serve as a flexible leader supporting multiple operations, sections, and value streams across the facility as needed. This role reports directly to the Continuous Improvement Engineering team and contributes to strategic improvement initiatives as needed, driving operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shift operations to achieve production goals.
- Provide focus and direction to production employees.
- Manage resources (people, materials, equipment) to optimize throughput and quality.
- Balance production with validation runs, equipment upgrades, process improvements and maintenance activities.
- Meet all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Build a culture of process discipline and change management.
- Track and report production metrics.
- Develop and implement LEAN training principles for production/operations teams.
- Build effective relationships with operators and support groups.
- Administer feedback and recognition when appropriate.
- Train production workforce, achieving maximum workforce flexibility.
Work Hours
- Rotating Shift (2-3-2).
- Flexible hours will be required to support weekend/evenings operations requirements (including coverage for shift supervisors on 12hr shift rotation as needed).
Education & Experience
- Strong prefence towards Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related technical field.
- Previous leadership experience (work, school, community).
- 2+ years expereince within manufacturing/engineering environment.

- Ability to effectively coach, mentor, and lead subordinates, providing clear direction and establishing expectations.

- Experience with early-stage manufacturing and new product delivery.
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques.
