Seeking a Director, Risk Practice to join a large scaled project for a 3+ Month engagement.

** This role is only open to W2 employment and as of now we cannot sponsor or work c2c**

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of primary drivers of a decline on an authorization attempt
• Solid understanding of credit card issuer and/or merchant acquirer P&L
• Ideally, candidate can speak articulately to how changes in approach to authorization rules can benefit an organization and their customers
• Ability to conduct scenario-analyses using Excel (“what-if” type approaches to estimate the benefit of a potential initiative)
• Working knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, and similar data visualization tools
• Direct experience in B2B sales (proposal writing, presenting to clients, estimating project duration)
• Person should have a strong lean towards collaboration, client-centricity, and a commitment to meeting deadlines. The team works quickly in a highly-collaborative style (not a “heads-down” role).
• Strong communication skills (written, spoken) and professional demeanor
• the person will interact with fairly senior client stakeholders and will need to be comfortable leading discussions, representing the team, and establishing themselves as a trusted SME and advisor

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of progressively responsible experience in the consumer / small business cards space, as demonstrated by:
• Work at a major North American Financial Institution (card issuer)
• Experience as a consultant/advisor/vendor focused on consumer/small business financial services
• Minimum 5 years of experience in authorizations and fraud on credit and/or debit card product

Additional Information

The starting pay range for this role is $ 50/hr- $55/hr. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
