We are looking for a dedicated Data Steward to manage and enhance our data assets. The Data Steward will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, quality, privacy, and accessibility of our data. This position requires a deep understanding of data management principles and the ability to collaborate across various teams to maintain data consistency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and possess a strategic mindset to drive data governance initiatives that support our organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and ensure adherence to enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Maintain data quality by implementing tools and methodologies for quality data management.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Implement data standards, rules, and quality requirements.
- Resolve data issues and discrepancies and ensure data consistency.
- Conduct regular data audits to verify data accuracy and integrity.
- Implement data privacy policies and ensure compliance with regulations.
Position Summary:
- Accurately log preventative maintenance agreements for various equipment
- Prepare ad hoc reports and perform audits as requested
- Act as primary communication contact for sales associates, customer care representatives and others
- Help with concerns related to customer equipment, fleet, billing, rental, and contract information
- Create, manage, and update equipment data following change requests
- Maintain CFPM and scheduled maintenance files
- Run and distribute monthly and weekly reports
- Perform special billing and payment audits
- Responsible for reviewing new contract warranty eligibility and registering qualified equipment
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data management and governance.
- Strong understanding of data structures, data systems, and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of data quality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
- 3 - 5 years computer system and data-entry experience required.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems from a user standpoint important.
- Ability to multi-task, communicate written and orally with internal and external customers at various levels is crucial.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
- Must have good analytical skills and be very detail oriented. Job duties require a self-starter with good organizational ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in data management or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
