Guidewire Policy Center Developer (Specialist, Software Engineer)
This role supports the PLS Product Pricing Value Stream. The Pricing team is growing with an increased scope to deliver multiple initiatives related to profitable actions such as Pricing Sophistication, PUL Redesign, and Extensive Protectors. These initiatives will help enable profitable growth, respond to market volatility, provide desired customer discounts, and improve rates for risk. This is one of the value streams in Nationwide P&C that has been growing continuously for the past four years.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
3+ years of hands-on experience working with Guidewire products, specifically Guidewire Policy Center Version 10+
Experience with unit testing, code coverage, and best practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with IIBv10 Aggregation, Message Flows, Message Maps, and ESQL is a huge plus.
Understanding of RESTful APIs.
Understanding of Kafka and Microservices.
Monitoring using NewRelic and Splunk.
Understanding of SQL databases, with the ability to write queries.
Insurance experience is a plus.
Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
