Key Responsibilities:

• As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases. Your day-to-day activities will include installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any problems that may arise. You are expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert. Active participation and contribution in team discussions are required, along with providing solutions to work-related problems.

• Advanced proficiency in Database Management is required.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL Coding is recommended.

• Advanced proficiency in Database Optimization & Tuning, Database Performance Management, and Database Activity Monitoring is suggested.

• Engage in continuous learning to enhance your understanding of database technologies and best practices.

• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements in database performance and efficiency.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues in a timely manner.

• Document database configurations, procedures, and changes to ensure clarity and continuity.

• Participate in team meetings to share insights and contribute to project planning and execution.

• This role requires 5 days away per quarter mandate by the client

• This role requires being on site with client 3 days per week in the office

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle Databases, SQL and PL SQL programing, database design

• Advanced proficiency in Database Management

• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands on experience with performance tuning

• Strong understanding of Oracle architecture

• Experience in Financial Services domain

• Knowledge of shell scripting, python for automation database tasks

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Gir, and Datical
