Work you'll do

As a Lead Software Engineer II on the Engineering as a Service team, you will be responsible for…

• Administer and maintain database environments supporting program operations
•  Support database design, tuning, backup, recovery, and reliability 
• Collaborate with software, cloud, and data teams on implementation and support
•  Troubleshoot performance, availability, and integrity issues 
• Support release, migration, and modernization activities
•  Contribute to secure and stable data platform operations Role-Specific Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of database administration or database engineering
• 5+ years of experience of database design, tuning, and operational support
• Active Top Secret security clearance required
• Ability to travel 40%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting modernization of legacy systems
• Experience in federal, defense, or secure cloud environments
