As a Product Manager focused on machine learning, you will own the integration and roadmap for mParticle’s recent acquisition of the Vidora Machine Learning Platform. You will help define the vision and strategy for mParticle’s machine learning capabilities including technologies like real-time machine learning, prescriptive modeling, and next-best-action. You will work closely with some of the most renowned brands to understand their goals and problems, and then go the extra mile to define and launch innovations that address those problems. You will lead mParticle through problem discovery, validation, and delivery of solutions that help customers make their business personal for their consumers via machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Customer Empathy - Understand and analyze diverse needs from our customers, think strategically, and lead with data-driven decisions.
• Decision Maker - Make the hard calls to effectively prioritize the roadmap to focus and align with our long term vision.
• Technical Fluency - Leverage your deep understanding of developer experience and software development to deliver solutions that delight our developer community.
• Organic Leader - Be the champion to manage development timelines with transparency, consistent high quality, and iterative delivery that inspires the rest of the PM team to follow.
• Versatility - Balance long-term growth, near-term wins, and execution. Be excited to wear many hats as the company goes through hyper startup growth.
• Effective Communicator - Translate complex business use cases into actionable engineering specs conveying UI/UX requirements, prioritization, and definitions of success.

Competencies

• 5-10+ years of product management or related experience at software technology companies.
• Experience with machine learning, AI, or data science platforms.
• Deep understanding of machine learning and data science algorithms, concepts, and techniques 
• Experience managing SaaS products across various stages of the product lifecycle.
• Experience connecting products to company strategy via goals and metrics.
• Experience managing a portfolio of features, with transparency and visibility into progress and planning. 
• A proven track record of making insightful decisions and nuanced tradeoffs, balancing numerous priorities and requests across multiple groups of external and internal stakeholders and customers, to accomplish great things.
• Experience with optimization using customer feedback, data, and metrics.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills for audiences across skill levels and technical aptitudes.
