Job Summary

We are in search of an experienced Remediation Engineer 4 to strengthen our cybersecurity team. In this crucial role, you will be central to the remediation of vulnerabilities detected through our scanning operations, impacting a vast array of IT assets across our organization. Your expertise in developing and implementing remediation strategies will be key to mitigating identified security risks.

Job Description

Responsibilities: 

• Lead and coordinate the remediation of identified vulnerabilities across various platforms and environments. 

• Develop and implement effective remediation strategies and solutions. 

• Work closely with the vulnerability scanning team to prioritize and address high-risk vulnerabilities. 

• Collaborate extensively with IT operations, development teams, and security architects to ensure effective vulnerability mitigation. 

• Engage in active collaboration with different business units, security leads, and Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) to align remediation efforts with broader business objectives and security policies. 

• Guide and mentor junior team members in remediation techniques and best practices. 

• Develop and maintain documentation, including remediation guides and playbooks. 

• Manage and track remediation efforts, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards. 

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding the status of remediation efforts. 

• Participate in incident response activities related to vulnerabilities when required. 

• Stay updated on emerging threats and adapt remediation strategies accordingly. 

Requirements: 

• 4+ years of experience in vulnerability remediation in a complex IT environment. 

• Strong understanding of various operating systems, applications, and network infrastructures. 

• Proven ability to develop and implement effective remediation solutions. 

• Experience in scripting and automation to streamline remediation processes. 

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across various teams and organizational levels.

Compensation

National Pay Range: $85,291.66 USD-$199,902.32 USD
