RTX has an opening for an Associate Director, SAP S4 HANA Basis RISE Principal position (Associate Director, Business Systems and Transformation).

Are you interested in playing a key role in defining the future of Aerospace and Defense?  If so, we are hiring a SAP S4 HANA Basis Principal to help drive our oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation. 

You are the ideal candidate if you have experience working within an organization that is responsible for driving large scale, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation in a highly regulated industry, ideally ERP implementation using SAP’s S4 HANA solution in a RISE scenario.

The RTX ERP Transformation Program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems. RTX has chosen SAP’s S4 HANA to enable our future ERP system and has largely concluded the strategic definition and design phase and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.

The SAP S4 HANA Basis Principal is responsible for engineering, deploying, operating and supporting the global SAP S4 HANA ecosystem for use by all RTX and its subsidiaries enabling the harmonization of business process across the enterprise.  The new ecosystem will deploy multiple large-scale production S4 HANA, B4 HANA, SAP GTS, SAP GRC and other solutions necessary to support the SAP ecosystem. 

What You Will Do:

• Define and document technology and process solutions that ensure compliance with regulations like NIS 800-171, DFARs, CUI/CDI, SEC/SOX, etc.
• Engineer and support solutions that are high performing and highly available to be used globally by our businesses.
• Leverage RTX’s influential relationship with SAP, Solution Integrators and other software providers.
• Lead technical teams through database and software installation, upgrade and patching processes, coordinating with RTX & SAP personnel
• Work with others to resolve conflicts, technical and other, to the satisfaction of our internal and external customers.
• Work with SAP Solution Manager, Web Dispatcher, S/4 HANA, SAP BW, Business Objects, SAP Landscape Transformation, SAP GRC, GT, SRM, Netweaver Portals and SAP PI solutions.
• Integration with Cloud solutions like Ariba and Concur
• have a strong understanding of Web technologies, firewalls, Proxy, reverse proxy, Web application Firewalls and other cyber capabilities required to deploy solutions safely and successfully.
• Work with internal cyber and administrative practices and policies.
• Work with functional teams to support configuration, system performance tuning and other activities necessary for preparation of the environment.
• Lead the build and development of ERP systems on our private cloud or within RISE.
• Travel up to 25% domestically

Qualifications You Must Have:
