About the Role:

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Technical Operations team, focusing on the deployment and management of our equipment. This role involves extensive on-site work, coordinating with contractors, and collaborating with the sales team to design and implement solutions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and optimize our deployment processes and solutions, ensuring high standards and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in technical operations, project management, or a related field, preferably in IoT or construction technology.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IoT device installation, network management, and familiarity with thermal sensors and occupancy detection systems.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading projects from inception to completion.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contractors.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Previous experience in contractor management and training programs.
  • Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant technical fields.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deployments: Lead and manage on-site installations of Butlr’s equipment, ensuring successful and timely deployments.
  • Project Management: Oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and resource allocation to monitoring progress and closing projects.
  • Contractor Management: Identify, engage, and manage contractors for installation projects, ensuring adherence to Butlr’s high standards.
  • Solution Design: Work closely with the sales team to design and propose technical solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Technical Resource: Serve as a technical resource during project planning and execution, providing expertise and support to ensure project success.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve deployment processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Travel: Expected 50% travel to various project sites for installations, contractor management, and quality assurance. As we improve our contractor relationships and training, this travel is expected to decrease. Part of this role involves working with contractors to expand their capabilities, enabling us to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
