Senior Java Full-stack Engineer

The team focus is to develop first class synchronization product to sync various data types of data between different OpenText products. </p> <p> </p> <p>The candidate must have solid experience and relevant track record in developing robust, maintainable, and scalable technology solutions. The role involves leading the architectural design across whole product, ensuring technical excellence, and promoting best practices within the engineering team.</p> <p> </p> <p>You are great at:</p> <ul> <li>Thorough assessment and analysis of system requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage and anticipation of business and user implications</li> <li>Guiding the translation of requirements into actionable development plans, with accurate estimations and detailed task divisions</li> <li>Collaborating effectively with geographically dispersed teams, ensuring seamless communication and integration of development efforts</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What it takes:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field</li> <li>10+ years of experience in software development, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, multi-threaded apps and design patterns. </li> <li>In-depth knowledge of Java, JavaScript languages with through understanding of HTTP(S), WebSocket, APIs in general and REST API in particular</li> <li>Experience in test-driven development using testing frameworks such as JUnit and Selenium</li> <li>Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tools</li> <li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Micro Focus’ (now OpenText) efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
