About the job

Join our Talent Acquisition team as a strategic talent advisor and talent intelligence expert. As a member of the Executive Recruiting team, you will own the entirety of the top of the funnel approach for your aligned searches.

Responsibilities:

As a Talent Research Partner on the Executive Recruiting team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establish the search strategy including identifying the strategic companies to map, the potential sources internally and externally as well as the pitch for the role in partnership with the Recruiter and Hiring Manager
  • Deliver a thorough and strategic market mapping that is representative of the diversity strategy (sometimes ahead of search kickoff to influence org design)
  • Engage all passive and active candidates and deliver an excellent candidate experience
  • Consistently build and leverage competency-based assessments based on Twilio Magic values and the job requirements to ensure thorough and equitable candidate assessment
  • Manage and strategize the candidate representation to the Business stakeholders both ad-hoc and within HM syncs.  
  • Provide actionable insights into the external talent marketplace by leveraging recruiting analytics and competitor intelligence to guide hiring strategies and build diverse candidate pipelines
  • Proactively build relationships with potential candidates and identifying new sources of high-quality candidates
  • Identifying and sharing market trends with the recruiting team to ensure competitive and efficient talent acquisition practices
  • Serving as a brand ambassador for Twilio by collaborating with the Employer Brand & Marketing team to engage passive talent

Required:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Talent Researcher or Sourcer; 2+ years as a researcher or sourcer for Executive roles either in-house or at an agency 
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with an Executive-level client base
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and effectively communicate recruiting data
  • Ability to effectively assess talent across GTM or R&D roles
  • Strong subject matter expertise in talent market trends and intelligence
  • Excellent networking and sourcing skills to build a pipeline of passive candidates that align with Twilio’s key talent needs
  • Ability to represent Twilio’s employer brand and serve as an ambassador for the company
  • Demonstrated experience with Sourcing keep-warm strategies - nurturing, attracting, and engaging passive prospects ideally with expertise in APIs, cloud, communications, and enterprise software
  • Strong collaboration skills

Desired:

  • Comfortable with simultaneously managing multiple searches and supporting multiple recruiters.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Insights, Talent Mapping, Greenhouse, Workday, Thrive, and Gem. 

 

Location

This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.
